I hope everyone is having a good Labor Day weekend!

This week I gave out a homework assignment and had you all go digging for the public perception of farm colonies and/or detention hospitals in the 1930s and 1940s. I loved reading the answers, and also thought it was interesting some of the slight variations depending on the search engine used. (This gives you a taste of what it’s like to research for a book! 😉)
