My lovely writer friend, Lilac Shoshani, asked if she could interview me on my upcoming debut. Of course I said, YES!
Lilac is a New Age Nun who cares deeply about those around her. She lives in the city of Tel Aviv, where she writes speculative fiction and these wonderful little vignettes of her day to day encounters with humanity for her blog.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time with her!

Oh, this is wonderful, Donna. I will check out the interview.
Thank you, Elise! Lilac asked me some interesting questions!
Donna, thank you so much for your beautiful and heartwarming words…
I thoroughly enjoyed my time with you! <3 <3 <3
Likewise, Lilac! You were very generous with time, and you did a LOT of work! THANK YOU SO MUCH! <3 <3 <3
You are very welcome, Donna! I enjoyed every minute of it… <3 <3 <3
Oh how fun! Great questions, and great answers. It’s always really interesting to hear about what influenced a writer, and when they first realized they wanted to become a writer. It’s only made me more excited about your book!
It’s kind of funny with interview questions…b/c there are only so many that writers will truly be interested in…Lilac had a few different ones that I loved. It was a fun interview and she did a great job.
I’m happy you’re excited about the book! I’m going to do a post on this at some time, but if you haven’t “shelved it” on Goodreads yet, I’d love for you to do that, if you don’t mind? The more instances of the book being shelved as “To Read” will increase the chances of Goodreads highlighting it. 😉
Way cool. I’ll check out the interview next. So is this your first interview or just the first I’ve heard about?
First you’ve heard of…I did another for Book Hive, a few months back…but of course hoping things will pick up for real the closer to pub date. 🙂
Wow – it just gets more real and yet crazier with every post you wrote! Author interviews and book reviews! I bet it never gets old.
It doesn’t – and I know it won’t, not for a long time. The thing is, it really hasn’t started yet. You know? I’ve still got six months until the first book ships…(Oct 25th) and right at exactly six months until the official launch date. I’ve really appreciated all the time I’ve had to let it soak in, but now I’m sort of ready to get going on all of it!
