Hello readers!
I can hardly believe it. This upcoming Friday, June 16th, begins another “season” of First Sentence Fridays for my newest novel, WHEN THE JESSAMINE GROWS!
For the next thirty-two weeks, (thirty-two chapters!) I’ll hopefully entice you to want to read my latest by introducing you to the characters, the plot, the setting and more, in this unique way I’ve enjoyed since my debut, THE EDUCATION OF DIXIE DUPREE – wow, meaning I’ve been doing this since 2015?!?!? I guess so. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Of course, I’ll also be giving away some books, too! I’ll start off with a few of the backlist books, although, I no longer have copies of THE EDUCATION OF DIXIE DUPREE, or THE ROAD TO BITTERSWEET. However, if you haven’t read THE FORGIVING KIND, THE MOONSHINER’S DAUGHTER, or THE SAINTS OF SWALLOW HILL, I still have a few of those left.
When I get the Advance Reading Copies (ARCs) and the finished copies of WHEN THE JESSAMINE GROWS, I’ll be able to give out some of those, too! ????????????

I’m in the Benson NC Southern Exposure book club. The Education of Dixie Dupree was my first introduction to your writing. Since that time I’ve read all your books. When I go to a bookstore or library I always ask if they have your books. I’ve gotten two places to add them. Love your writing. I’ve grew up on a farm in Johnston County and I can relate to your books with ease. Looking forward to the new one !
